Tutoring

The Center for Academic Success is best known for providing tutorial and supplemental instruction services and support to students. Assistance is provided to students through Supplemental Instruction, Review and Help Sessions, as well as Small Group Sessions. These support programs and services are designed to assist students with attaining a deeper understanding of course materials and provide students with study skills and strategies they can apply in their course work.

Services are available on a walk-in basis and do not require an appointment.

The Center for Academic Success provides tutoring by trained peer tutors in a variety math, science and business classes. Sessions are designed to assist students with attaining a deeper understanding of course materials.

• Walk in Assistance Sessions are available to students for a variety math, science and business classes. These sessions are available for students to drop – in to ask questions and seek assistance.

• Small Group Tutorial Sessions are facilitated by peer-leaders and instructors. These sessions offer students the opportunity to integrate study strategies with specific course content.
